Lynden Energy Corp. (TSXV: LVL) is an oil and natural gas company engaged in the acquisition, development, and exploration of oil and natural gas properties. Operations are focused on our Wolfberry and Mitchell Ranch projects in the Permian Basin, West Texas, and our Paradox Basin Project, Utah.
The Mitchell Ranch Project provides Lynden with the option to acquire a 50% interest in approximately 100,000 gross acres in the Coke, Mitchell, and Sterling counties of West Texas. All of the acreage is contained within a historical ranch. to the immediate west of the Jameson field and is approximately 10 miles south-east of the Iatan field. The project is focused on Pennsylvanian-aged detrital targets along the eastern shelf of the Permian Basin where there are several pay zones, all of which are shallower than 8,000 feet in depth.
The Wolfberry Project is a major emerging low-permeability oil play covering approximately 13,300 acres in the Glasscock, Howard, Martin, Midland, and Sterling counties of West Texas. The project is focused on production from the Spraberry and Wolfcamp formations, which are of Permian age and informally grouped to form the "Wolfberry" zone.
Paradox Basin Project includes two contiguous oil and gas prospect areas totalling 1,525,000 acres. Lease holdings in the prospect areas cover approximately 100,000 acres. The project is targeting gas production from the Gothic and Hovenweep shales and other Paradox Basin lithologies.
Lynden's mission is to continue to develop our existing asset base, seek acquisitions of producing and non-producing properties, and participate in additional strategic joint ventures. Management is highly committed to building shareholder value.
